Healing in Motion: A Powerful Gathering of Faith, Growth, and Gratitude at the Iman Institute Graduation

Edited by Dr. Audrey Muhammad

(Jacksonville, FL) There are moments in life when time slows just enough for us to recognize that we are standing in something meaningful—something greater than ourselves. This past weekend in Jacksonville, Florida was one of those moments. It was, in every sense, a time for healing.

Brothers and sisters gathered with open hearts and clear intention to witness the graduation of students from the Iman Institute’s Radio in the Head program. This was not simply a ceremony—it was a reflection of growth, discipline, and the quiet, often unseen work required to elevate the mind and spirit. Each graduate stood as a living testimony to what is possible when faith meets focus.

The energy of the weekend was elevated even further as the celebration unfolded just ahead of the excitement surrounding a Michael Jackson biopic premiere, adding a cultural element to an already powerful spiritual gathering. Yet even with the anticipation in the air, the spirit inside the room remained grounded—centered in love, gratitude, and deep appreciation.

Adding to the spirit of the occasion was the presence of The People’s Podcast, with Joshua Muhammad traveling from Atlanta, Georgia to cover the story. His commitment to capturing and sharing these meaningful moments speaks to the importance of documenting our journeys—so that others may see, be inspired, and grow. Those who were not able to attend can witness the beauty of the weekend through video footage available on his Instagram and Facebook platforms.

In a touching and symbolic gesture, Brother Joshua wore a T-shirt that featured his father standing alongside Michael Jackson—a quiet but powerful reminder of legacy, service, and the unseen contributions that help shape history. It was a moment that connected generations, purpose, and presence all at once.

Above all, this weekend served as a reminder that healing is not just a concept—it is an active process. It is found in community, in shared purpose, and in the willingness to grow. We extend our appreciation to Dr. Iman Muhammad Ali for continuing to provide spaces where transformation can take place and lives can be renewed.

And as we move forward, may we all carry this reminder with us: when faith is cultivated, discipline is practiced, and love is present—healing is always in motion.
